This is Andrew and his first lesson, self taught.
The piano we got from a neighbor who was trying to get rid of it. It's a little harder to fit our ping-pong table in the room, I must admit, but it's worth the sacrifice. :) hehe. The piano is pre- World War I, made in 1916. We think it adds a lot to the home (especially when Abby plays).
We camped at Lake Jacomo, about 20 minutes South of Independence, MO.
Andrew is getting to be a great camper, even if it is thundering and pouring!
Here we are at Liberty Jail. In this exact spot, Joseph Smith, Hyrum Smith, and a few others spent 4 months. It was a very tender experience to be there, and read D&C 121-123 in the very place that it was revealed to the Prophet Joseph.
Camping at Mahoney State Park with the Platte River in the background. We had fun cooking tin foil dinnners, flying a kite, roasting marshamellows, and sleeping soundly knowing that there were NO bears in Nebraska!
