good ol' summer time

We had a jolly good time fishing a few weeks ago.  The rainbow trout was delicious!

Peter's trout was 2.7 pounds!  Yum.

The boys made James' tie for Father's Day.  Way to wear it, daddy!  (even if it was only for half of church...)

A little help at the kitchen sink is always welcomed.

I had such a blast running a half marathon w/ some good friends in Sunriver.  Go Cathy and Amy!

We had our own Boone-Sampson olympics while family visited. It was SO fun.  We went to the high school track and did all sorts of events. Their favorite was the hurtles w/ some 6 inch hurtles from James' work. This is our award ceremony that night.

We got to go to the Olympic trials for track and field in Eugene. Wow. It was AMAZING. We even had front row seats thanks to Barbara and Aared for being so on top of getting tickets. Just to watch their expressions was amazing. Those athletes are some tough cookies!

We went camping after the trials at Fall Creek Reservoir and also the Redwoods.

This is fern canyon. I HIGHLY recommend the hike if you go to the redwoods. It was beautiful, and such a blast for the kids to cross all the little bridges, though we all go soaked. What a beautiful and fun world we live in!
