Here's our Christmas card and letter from 2011

Merry Christmas!

This year, we invite you to sing our family letter…to the tune of “My Favorite Things” from the well-known and loved musical The Sound of Music…enjoy!

Andrew (4 years 8 months)

Going to preschool and helping his mother

Opening books and embracing big brother

Such a perfectionist, with energy

These are a few of our favorite things

Peter (2 years 10 months)

Jumping off couches and yelling "Moroni!"

Super observant and not scared to say "Hi"

Facial expressions that you've got to see

Lizzy (0 years 9 months)

Snuggling with Mommy and sleeping the night through

Sitting alone and withstanding the "boy crew"

Such a sweet calming that her spirit brings.

And then we don't feel...so bugged

Abby and I enjoyed playing coed softball together this summer on Team “Wildebeest.” It served as our weekly date night for a couple months. We visited the Oregon coast, the Redwoods, and also Virginia Beach for a family reunion – coast to coast. We enjoy little special moments like breakfast at the counter/bar most mornings, a fire most mornings and nights in the colder months, laughing at the cute things the children say, going for walks and bike rides together, playing ‘popcorn’ on the trampoline, and quietness after the children are in bed.

We hope this next year is the best one yet for all of us! Make it a great year!
